Kai Light Photography is now booking in North Wilmington. The work is intentional from the first frame: confident lighting, clean direction, and images you will actually use, built on a focused, premium portfolio in select styles. Because the studio is in its founding season, current rates sit a deliberate step below the established Wilmington and Philadelphia studios. These are introductory Founding Client rates ahead of standard 2026 pricing, so the value here is real and the timing is deliberate.

Good to know

The working terms, confirmed at booking. (No surprises later.)

Retainer: a 50% non-refundable retainer secures your date; individual and portrait balances are due in full at the session. Team and medical days: balance due the day before.
Reschedule: one free reschedule with 7+ days notice. Cancellations forfeit the retainer; team and brand bookings cancelled inside 30 days owe the full balance.
Travel: North Wilmington and New Castle County included. On-site work included to 30 miles; 30 to 45 miles adds $75 per location; beyond 45 miles adds $150 (or IRS mileage), quoted at booking.
Usage and licensing: headshots include personal and internal-business use (website, directories, LinkedIn, bios). Brand packages include unlimited use on your own channels. Paid ads or third-party licensing quoted separately.
Copyright and files: Kai retains copyright. You receive the final retouched files in your package. RAW and unedited files are not delivered or for sale.
Model releases: for brand and on-location work, the client secures releases for any identifiable people they bring to the shoot.
Retouching: standard retouch (blemish and stray-hair cleanup, color and exposure, light skin smoothing) is included. Advanced edits (reshaping, background swaps, composites) are quoted separately.
Insurance: Kai carries liability insurance and provides a Certificate of Insurance on request for on-site corporate and medical bookings (please request 5 business days ahead).
Sales tax: Delaware has no sales tax. On-site shoots performed in Pennsylvania may be subject to applicable PA tax, itemized where required.
Founding Client program: limited founding-season pricing ahead of standard 2026 rates. Founding clients get priority booking and a standing 10% loyalty rate; Kai may feature select images and request a short testimonial.
Referrals and gift cards: refer a client who books and receive a $50 credit. Gift cards available in any amount, applied to any service.
Turnaround promises are firm. Rush delivery, where offered, is confirmed at booking, not after the shoot.
