I'm Kai, and I'm drawn to the moments right before and right after. The blue hour when the sky can't decide what color it wants to be. The in-between pause no one thinks to document. I'd call my style a liminal style with a touch of whimsy: rooted in quiet observation, shaped by a genuine curiosity about light, and always a little softer than you might expect.
Whether I'm photographing a person, a business, or a place, I'm looking for what's true and specific in the frame. I work slowly enough to find it.
